Public Notice – Special Board Meeting
A special Board meeting has been requested for Friday, January 22, 2021 at noon for the following Agenda items:
1. Allow or not allow students who remain virtual when we go into Tier 2 to participate in afterschool activities
2. Determine whether to stay with the re-entry plan to not allow spectators into the gym or to change the re-entry plan and allow and if so, how is that going to work.
3. Contract Acceptance

FCSD14 School Re-Entry Plan
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Fremont County School District #14 (FCSD14) has developed this plan to facilitate the education of our students in a way that promotes the safety and wellness of our students, staff, families and community. All health and safety procedures will be aligned with best practices outlined by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Wyoming Department of Health (WDH), Indian Health Service (IHS) and Fremont County Health Department (FCHD). The School Board’s decision to open or close schools will be aligned with Tribal, County and State orders. FCSD14 will also comply with state statutes and rules relating to providing high quality, standards based educational opportunities to all students.
The Board of Trustees of Fremont County School District #14 will be meeting in
Executive Session on January 21st, 26th, and 28th 7:00 p.m. in order to interview
candidates for the superintendent of schools position. The meeting will be held
virtually. Interested parties may join the public portion of the meeting but will not
be able to join Executive Session where the interviews will take place. Those

Included in the superintendent selection process is the opportunity for district
patrons and staff to hear comments from each candidate and to ask questions of the
candidates at a series of Community Forums. The Community Forum schedule is

FCSD #14 2020 Board Members Swearing In and Honoring
FCSD #14 Congratulated returning Board Members Emery’l LeBeau and Rich Singer and Welcomed new member Nathan Friday at the November 11, 2020 board meeting. Wyoming Indian Schools also honored outgoing member Clarinda Calling Thunder for her 20 years of service to the district. Her outstanding leadership, commitment, and continual pursuit of educational excellence will be missed. Her support of students, teachers, staff, and the community will continue to echo in the halls of our schools for many years to come.
