Before and After image of Native Education from boarding school to Wyoming Indian Schools students in traditional regalia.

Wyoming Indian High School was established for the children of our community. When Mill Creek Schools, FCSD #14 merged with Wyoming Indian High School in 1984 the hope continued for culture, language, and identity to be respected and honored in our school.

The first federally funded boarding school, Carlisle Industrial School, would take 'before and after' pictures of students at their facility to show their outward changes.
This poster is reflective of the hope of our community and families have for our children, to remember who we are and for our outward appearance to reflect the beauty inherent in each of our students as they work to become the embodiment of our relatives dreams.
