Richard Winn, Computer Science Teacher, at Wyoming Indian Schools has received the Teach Cyber–Platform Award for 2022-2023.
Richard has brought a real-world opportunity to the Wind River Reservation, where he serves a 100% Native American school. He has created a cybersecurity program that produces certified students right out of high school. Richard has attained CompTIA Education Partner for his school districts, leading students and peers in pursuing cybersecurity education. Additionally, he served as an equity fellow for the CSTA Equity Fellowship program and is working to bring CS opportunities to one of the most marginalized groups of students in America.
